Inspiration

A journey to get inspired today by those building tomorrow.

21–29 Nov 2026 · Hong Kong · Shenzhen · Hangzhou · Shanghai

I want to go Why come

01 — Why come

See the future before it reaches your industry.

What is being tested in Shenzhen today will be in your market tomorrow. Seeing it with your own eyes, alongside people who build like you, changes how you decide the next few years.

01 See it before everyone else

Robots, drones, electric cars and super-apps in their habitat. Not in a report: on the street, in the factory and at the table.

02 Learn from the people doing it

Conversations with teams operating at a scale that doesn’t exist in Europe. And with locals who know how it really works.

03 The group is half the trip

Eleven founders and tech executives, chosen one by one. The best ideas will come up in the van and at dinner.

04 Zero friction

Non-stop flights, a single room in 4–5★ hotels, high-speed trains, guide and transfers. All you have to do is come.

02 — Companies

The companies others study in slide decks. We walk in.

Robots that walk, drones that fly, cars that drive themselves and the super-app that runs a country. We see them where they are born, with the people who build them.

TencentTencentThe super-app
BYDBYDThe electric car
DJIDJIThe drones
UnitreeUnitreeThe robots
UBTECHUBTECHThe humanoids
NIONIOElectric luxury
TeslaTeslaThe Gigafactory

The list is alive: a company may join or drop depending on how the agenda closes.

03 — Route

Four cities. Three transfers. One flight.

In through Hong Kong. Out through Shanghai. In between, the south that builds and the east that codes. High-speed trains, a van with a driver and zero wasted time.

05 — Culture

Not just factories. China, too.

Understanding how they build starts with understanding how they live. Every city gets its afternoon, its table and its walk.

Hong Kong

The view from the Peak, the Star Ferry at dusk and proper dim sum. The city where East and West shake hands and order more tea.

Shenzhen

A fishing village in 1980. Today, the hardware capital of the world. Huaqiangbei: ten blocks of electronics where you could build a phone in an afternoon.

Hangzhou

West Lake, a thousand years of poets and hand-picked Longjing tea. Marco Polo called it the most beautiful city in the world. He wasn’t far off.

Shanghai

The Bund on one side, Pudong on the other: a hundred years of history split by a river. Galleries at M50 and a closing dinner worthy of the trip.

06 — The group

The trip is the people. That’s why we choose.

Eleven seats, and they are not open to everyone. Every application is reviewed. We are looking for experienced founders and senior executives at large tech companies, and above all good people who want to learn, get inspired and have a good time. Half the value of the trip is who you travel with.

No companions, no public list and nobody who comes just to watch.

Eleven seats. Four confirmed.

The rest appear here when they confirm. Not before, not after.
